Drive off in a Nissan Kicks for Rs4.79m

The Nissan Kicks offers spacious interiors and stylish exteriors. With best-in-class features, drive innovation and comfort, the new Nissan Kicks is available at an introductory price of Rs4.79 million for the entry-level variant while the top variant costs Rs5.99 million, Pioneer Moto Corp said in a press statement.
Nissan Kicks comes with other exciting features such as first in class eight-inch floating infotainment system supporting both Android and Apple CarPlay, LED projector head lamp, automatic climate control, cooled and illuminated glove box, cruise control, voice recognition, smart card for keyless entry, driver seat height adjustment and dual airbags.
The SUV is available in three variants, XL, XV and XV Premium for diesel engine, and two dynamic variants XL and XV for petrol engine.
This all new Nissan Kicks comes in seven different colours—pearl white, blade silver, bronze grey, fire red, amber orange, deep blue pearl and night shade.
Sandeep Kumar Sharda, managing director of Pioneer Moto Corp, said, “We are very upbeat about this product as it is a global product that meets the taste of Nepali customers. It has already generated a great deal of curiosity in Nepal, and we are very hopeful that it will win the hearts of car lovers here.”
The stylish design is complemented by enhanced performance and driving dynamics, the company said. The new Nissan Kicks offers a 1.5H4K petrol option driven by five-speed manual transmission and 1.5K9K diesel engine driven by six-speed manual transmission.
The fuel efficiency certified under test conditions is 14.23 km per litre (petrol) and 20.45 km per litre (diesel), the press statement said.
Nissan Motor India is a 1 percent subsidiary of Nissan Motor Japan. The company was incorporated in 2005 and offers innovative and exciting products across the hatchback, MUV, SUV and sedan segments in India. Nissan, together with its global alliance partner Renault, set up a manufacturing plant and a research and development centre near Chennai. Nissan in India has a portfolio of two brands, Nissan and Datsun.
In 2016, Nissan acquired a 34 percent stake in Mitsubishi Motors. Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi is today the world’s largest automotive partnership, with combined sales of more than 10.6 million vehicles in calendar year 2017, the statement said.
