Landslides obstruct Parbat road section

The landslide took place at Pang cliff in Majhi settlement near Kaligandaki River at 8 am on Sunday.

The landslip has also damaged the nearby Shramik Primary School. The roof and compound wall of the school has been damaged by a rock that fell from the cliff.
Meanwhile, a diversion has been constructed using a dozer to resume traffic movement after police failed to remove the debris from
the road. Locals said that the cliff developed cracks after the April 25 earthquake
and eventually the landslip started due to the continuous rainfall for the past couple of days.
