The relief materials include zinc sheets, school uniform and education materials. The earthquake on April 25 killed five people in ward number 7, 8 and 9 of the village. Likewise, five people were injured while 500 houses were affected by the earthquake.
The army had first distributed coupons to the real victims of the earthquake before distributing the relief materials. Battalion commander Ganapati Ramchandra Khatri said the relief items were provided to them by Vietnamese Buddhist Association and Bishwo Shanti Bihar Nepal.
The battalion has previously been involved in the humanitarian act. It had distributed relief in Kathmandu and Dhading as well.
