Adhyayan School successfully hosted the grand finale of ‘Hack-अ-Thon 2.0’, its inter-school hackathon organised in collaboration with Leapfrog Technology, powered by AWS and MTX APAC, and in partnership with Code for Nepal and Veda.
The finale was held on March 17, 2026, at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, with Adesh Khadka, joint secretary at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, attending as the chief guest.
A total of 53 teams from 40 schools across Nepal, including both private and government institutions, participated in the multi-phase hackathon, where students developed technology-driven solutions addressing challenges in education, health, accessibility, and social impact.
Following weeks of orientation, bootcamps, and mentorship, the top teams showcased their projects before a panel of judges and an audience of educators, parents, and industry professionals.
Adhyayan School’s team ‘Sign Connect’ emerged as the winner, securing Rs0.25 million, while Euro School Hattigauda’s ‘VidyasetuAI’ was named first runner-up and Rato Bangala School’s ‘Swacchata’ second runner-up. Shivapuri Secondary School received the Government School Category Award for ‘Rakta Pulse’, and Samriddhi Bastakoti was honoured with the Best Coder Award, receiving a laptop for exceptional coding.
‘Hack-अ-Thon’ was more than just a competition; it served as a platform for nurturing future tech leaders and fostering creativity, collaboration, and impact-driven innovation within the Nepali student community.
