Generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as similar regions in the rest of the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The remaining areas will see partly cloudy skies.

The division said moderate rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, windstorms and hail is likely at a few places in Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, and in the hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini and Gandaki provinces.

Light rain or snowfall with thunder, lightning and hail is also possible at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces, and in the Tarai of Madhesh and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Tonight, generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali, Sudurpashchim, Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi provinces, while the remaining Tarai areas will be partly cloudy.

Moderate rain or snowfall with thunder, lightning, windstorms and hail is likely at some places in Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, and at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Lumbini and Bagmati provinces.
