Cloudy conditions are expected over the hilly and mountainous regions of the country on Monday, while the Tarai will see partly cloudy skies during the day, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Some places in the hills and mountains may witness thunderstorms accompanied by moderate rainfall or snowfall.

At night, the mountainous region will remain generally cloudy, with partial cloud cover in the hills and mostly clear conditions in the Tarai.

A few places in the highlands of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, and isolated areas in Bagmati, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim, may receive light rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning.
