The weather is expected to remain partly cloudy to mainly clear across most parts of the country on Monday.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the Himalayan region will see generally cloudy conditions during the day, while the hilly region will witness partial cloud cover. The Tarai is forecast to remain mainly fair, although fog is likely in some areas in the morning.

Light rain or snowfall is likely at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces during the day.

At night, fog is expected in a few places in the Tarai. Partial cloud cover is likely in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as the Himalayan region of Karnali Province. The rest of the country is expected to see mainly clear skies.

There is also a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces during the night.
