Partial cloud cover is expected across Nepal on Wednesday, with chances of light rain and snowfall in several hill and Himalayan areas, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

During the day, the Himalayan region will see generally cloudy conditions, while the hilly and Tarai regions are likely to experience partly cloudy skies. A few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province, and isolated locations in the Himalayan regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, may witness light rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

At night, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces, and partly cloudy in other Himalayan areas. The hilly and Tarai regions are expected to see mostly clear skies.

There remains a chance of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces overnight.
