The Meteorological Forecasting Division says high hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will mainly remain cloudy during the day, with partly cloudy skies elsewhere.

There is a chance of light snowfall or rain at a few places in high hilly and Himalayan areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim, and at one or two places in similar areas of Gandaki. A few places in the remaining parts of Karnali and Sudurpaschim may see light rain with thunder and lightning.

At night, cloudy conditions are expected over high hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, with partly cloudy skies elsewhere.

Moderate snowfall or rain is possible at some high hilly and Himalayan locations in these provinces, and light snowfall or rain at isolated places. Some hilly areas of Karnali, Sudurpaschim, Gandaki and Lumbini may receive moderate rainfall, while a few Tarai areas may see light rain. Thunder and lightning may occur at isolated hilly and Tarai locations in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim.
