The Meteorological Forecasting Division said cloudy conditions are expected across the hilly and Himalayan regions on Tuesday, with partial cloud cover in the Tarai.

Some places in Koshi Province and other hilly and mountainous areas may witness moderate rain or snowfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds and hail. A few other areas may also see brief spells of precipitation.

At night, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the Himalayan region and partly cloudy in the hills, while the Tarai is likely to stay mostly clear. Isolated places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces may receive light rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning.
