Mostly cloudy conditions are expected across the country on Friday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The division said moderate rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, hail and windstorms is likely at many places in Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, at some places in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, and in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province. A few places in Bagmati and Madhesh provinces, as well as the Terai region of Koshi, may also witness similar conditions.

Heavy rain or snowfall is possible at one or two places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Tonight, mostly cloudy conditions will persist across the country.

Moderate rain or snowfall with thunder, lightning, hail and windstorms is likely at many places in Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, and at some places in Bagmati and Lumbini provinces.

Heavy rainfall is also likely at one or two places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
