The weather is expected to remain mostly cloudy across the country today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

There is a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall with thunder, lightning, hail and windstorms in many places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, in some places of Karnali Province, and in a few places of Sudurpashchim Province. Heavy rainfall is also likely at one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh and Lumbini provinces.

Tonight, generally cloudy conditions are expected in Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces, as well as in the hilly and mountainous regions elsewhere, while the remaining Tarai regions will see partly cloudy skies.

Light rain or snowfall with thunder and lightning is likely in some places of Koshi Province, in a few places of the mountainous regions of other provinces including Madhesh and Bagmati, and at one or two places in the remaining hilly regions.
