Experience: Former General Secretary of Parliament (2003-2007) and Ambassador to Russia (2007-2012), Gurung had chaired
various Parliamentary committees and the Parliament Secretariat.

Experience: Lecturer at Tribhuvan University, Jha is an advisor to the Tarai Human Rights Defenders Alliance, member of Federation of Nepali Journalists.
Madhabi Bhatta, 39
Education: PhD in Sociology, Ewha Women’s University, South Korea
Experience: Former sub-editor at Kantipur daily, Bhatta is a columnist at Nagarik daily. She is a visiting faculty at Department of Sociology at Tribhuvan University.
Shree Krishna Subedi
Education: Post Graduate Diploma from Tokiwa University, Japan and York University, UK
Experience: Former executive director of INHURED International and working in the field of human rights for the past 18 years. A lawyer, Subedi advocates victims’ rights.
Lila Udasi, 65
Education: BA BL, Tribhuvan University
Experience: Advisory Committee member of Bar Association, Udasi served as a member of Law Reform Commission and as coordinator of various human rights panels. He has six books, collection of essays and poems to his credit.

Experience: An associate with Pioneer Law Associate, Gurung has been working in the field of Commercial Law with specialisation in labour law and litigation.
Nara Kumari Gurung, 47
Education: LLM, Kathmandu School of Law
Experience: Member of Beyond Beijing, Gurung had chaired the Arukharka VDC in late 90s and was member of Syangja District Development Committee.
Bishnu Pathak, 52
Education: PhD in Conflict management and human rights, Tribhuvan University
Experience: Executive President of Peace and Conflict Studies Centre, Pathak is affiliated with a number of universities and peace institutions. He has also worked as lead researcher and taskforce members in various projects related to human rights and peace.
Bijul Bishwakarma, 53
Education: MA in Sociology and Political science
Experience: A former member of National Assembly and chairperson of National Dalit Commission, Bishwakarma has been advocating for Dalit rights.
