RSP’s Dol Prasad Aryal wins Kathmandu-9

Aryal secures victory by a margin of nearly 30,000 votes over Congress rival.

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Dol Prasad Aryal has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 9.

Aryal, the party’s vice-chair and coordinator of its federal election mobilisation committee, secured 35,093 votes.

His nearest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Nanumaya Bastola, received 5,460 votes.
