Kanchanpur police arrested three individuals on Saturday for attempting to fraudulently take the driving licence test at the Transport Management Office in Kanchanpur.

According to District Police Office spokesperson and Police Inspector Jamuna Joshi, Asmit Dagoura of Bedkot-5 was caught red-handed taking the test under the name of Subas Dagoura from Bedkot-6.

Subas Dagoura, who arranged for someone else to take the test on his behalf, and Amar Singh Dhami of Bhimdatta-6, who falsely marked attendance for another candidate during the practical test, were also arrested.

Transport Management Office chief Tarka Raj Bhatt said the suspects were handed over to Kanchanpur police for further action.

Inspector Joshi stated that an investigation is underway to determine the legal charges against them.
