Janak Giri wins Bajura seat

The Congress candidate defeats UML’s Lal Bahadur Thapa by 540 votes.

Bajura

Janak Giri of the Nepali Congress has been elected to the House of Representatives from Bajura.

Giri secured 17,173 votes, defeating Lal Bahadur Thapa of the CPN-UML, who received 16,633 votes.

Hemraj Thapa of the Rastriya Swatantra Party came third with 6,035 votes.

Prakash Shah of the Nepali Communist Party finished fourth, securing 3,424 votes.
