National Assembly election has concluded in Province 7. The election that started at 10am in the Pop Secondary School in Silgadhi, Doti, concluded at 3pm.
There were a total of 229 voters including 53 Provincial Assembly members and 176 municipality chiefs, rural municipality chiefs, and their deputy chiefs. Two Provincial Assembly members from Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP-N) were absent during the voting.
Malmati Rana Tharu and Krishna Chaudhary of RJP-N did not show up for voting.
The election team has left for Doti-based District Court with the ballot boxes.
Chief Election Officer Jayananda Paneru informed that an all-party meeting held at District Administration Office has decided to begin the vote counting from 4 pm.
