195 individuals arrested from various parts of Kathmandu

Police have arrested 195 individuals from various locations in Kathmandu. The arrests were part of an overnight search operation launched by police on Friday.
According to Kathmandu Police Chief Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa, those detained include individuals involved in hooliganism in nightlife businesses, vandalism of public property, and harassment of passengers at the airport.
18 arrested from airport
Police held 18 individuals from the Tribhuvan International Airport area on charges of harassing and defrauding passengers.
According to Kathmandu Police Range spokesperson Pawan Bhattarai, a police team deployed in the airport area of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9 made the arrests.
The arrestees include Surya Majhi, 18, of Sarlahi, Ekesh Tamang, 22, of Banke, Prem Kumar Magar, 26, of Panchthar, Raj Kumar Rai, 32, of Sindhuli, Mangal Man Ghalan, 40, of Makwanpur, Khagendra Limbu, 38, of Panchthar, Ashish Khatiwada, 29, of Morang, Bishwo Moktan, 34, of Makwanpur, Birendra Jha, 45, of Dhanusha, Ladda Miya, 60, of Siraha, Parashuram Rai, 46, of Morang, Santu Tamang, 27, of Ramechhap, Raghubir Shah, 53, of Dhanusha, Rajiv Kumar Rawat, 33, of Mahottari, Saroj Kumar Mahato, 26, of Dhanusha, Ajay Lama, 19, of Makwanpur, Keshab Limbu, 39, of Jhapa, Ram Prasad Joshi, 20, of Bajhang, and Bimal Raj Joshi, 29, of Bajhang.
Among the arrestees, Suresh Gurung, 38, of Khotang, Ashok Giri, 43, of Sindhupalchok, Wakil Bam, 34, of Kalikot, Sanjib Rai, 28, of Khotang, Sanjib Lama, 42, Raj Kumar Tamang, 37, Binod Thakuri, 37, Sherpa Lama, 30, and Bir Bahadur Lama, 33, all of Kavrepalanchok, Rahul Rai, 41, of Khotang, Samesh Tamang, 35, of Nuwakot, Sun Bahadur Tamang, 35, of Nuwakot, and Mahesh Mahat, 30, of Lalitpur, were involved in robbery and hooliganism.
All of them were living in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley.
