The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to hold its central committee meeting in the third week of January to review the recently concluded parliamentary and provincial elections in Birgunj.

According to party spokesperson Bhuwan Pathak, the meeting will hold discussions on the improvement of the party’s organisational situation and revising the ideology as per the people’s wishes.

The meeting which can take all the decision except amending the statute has been taken as a big assembly after the general convention.

Around 500 central working members, district chairmen, regional chairmen and municipal chairmen will take part in the meeting which will endorse new policies and future strategy.

The party had won one seat in the parliamentary election and it failed to secure three percent threshold in the proportional election.
