A girl died in a road accident at Gaushala in Mahottari district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as a local Anjali Kumari Mahato, 12.

The accident took place when a tractor (Ja 1 Ta 5541) hit the girl, according to the Area Police Office, Gaushala. She died on the spot in the accident.

The tractor driver has been absconding after the accident and further investigation into the case was underway, said Police Inspector Bhola Bhatta. RSS
