Feud over land leaves one dead in Rautahat

A 50-year-old man died and three others injured after a fight with neighbours over land dispute at Katahariya Municipality-8 of Rautahat district on Wednesday night.
Local Rampukar Raya Yadav, 50, died in the fight, while three others from his side—Madan Raya Yadav, Pramod Raya Yadav, Dilip Yadav—have been injured, police said. They have been receiving medical attention at local clinic.
A fight broke out between the sides of deceased Ram Pukar and Gauri Shankar Raya Yadav at around 8 pm yesterday over a land dispute.
All the people from Gauri Shankar’s side have fled after the incident. Police have been searching for them. Body of deceased Rampukar has been kept at district hospital Gaur for post-mortem.
