SEE results out: 65.98 percent students secure grades

The National Examinations Board (NEB) on Monday published the results of this year’s Secondary Education Examinations (SEE), held from April 2 to April 12.
A total of 65.98 per cent of students secured grades and qualified for further studies, marking a rise from last year’s 61.81 percent.
According to the board, 284,160 students passed the examination, while 146,507 were placed in the non-graded category.
In terms of grade distribution, 48,392 students secured GPA 3.60–4.00, while 80,372 students scored between GPA 3.20 and 3.60. Likewise, 94,222 students obtained GPA 2.80–3.20, and 55,977 students fell in the GPA range of 2.40–2.80. Similarly, 5,190 students scored between GPA 2.00 and 2.40, while seven students secured GPA between 1.60 and below 2.00.
Last year, 271,299 students had passed the SEE, with a pass rate of 61.81 percent.
Generally, SEE results were made public around the third week of June. This year, the results were published within a month, significantly earlier than in previous years.
