The District Police Office, Kaski has arrested six gamblers following a raid at a private residence here.
The police team acted on a tip – off and raided Shamsher Gurung's residence at Tutunga of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City – 15 where the gamblers had gathered.
Bal Krishna Gurung, Om Bahadur Gurung, Iman Singh Gurung from ward no 16 and Sher Bahadur Gurung from ward no 1 in Bagar and Yam Bahadur Gurung from ward no 14 in Chauthe including the owner of the house, Shamsher Gurung, were taken into custody, Police Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Khatri said.
The police also seized Rs 226,615 in cash. The gamblers were remanded for further investigation after an order from the Kaski District Court. RSS
