Two persons have been injured when a jeep driven by a novice driver met with an accident at Chapa along the Rapti Lokmarga in Musikot Municipality-4, Rukum district on Wednesday.
The injured have been identified as District Forest Officer Jagannath Prasad Jaiswal and Assistant District Forest Officer Bhim Prasad Kandel.
Jaiswal was learning to drive the vehicle (Ba 4 Cha 299) and was accompanied by Kandel, and forest officials Toshraj KC and driver Sanjay Pariyar when the mishap occurred.
The injured have been taken to Salle-based District Hospital for further medical treatment.
