Former leader of then Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Amar Yadav, who quit the party to form Madhes Tarai Forum, has returned to the Upendra yadav-led Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum.

The two parties merged on Tuesday with the official announcement made in Rautahat district. A statement issued later on stated the parties decided to unite with local level election looming and consensus on party's policies and agendas.

Amar was treasurer in Madhesi Janadhikar Forum when he quit due to differences with the party. Madhesi Janadhikar Forum later on became Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum after merger with Ashok Rai-led party.
