A meeting convened under the chairmanship of EC Chief Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav in the Capital today approved the election programme for Provincial Assembly and House of Representatives.
According to the decision of the meeting, the election under the first phase will be held on November 26 and the second phase will be held on December 7.
The election time has been set for 7am-5pm.
Timetable for first phase polls (November 26) under FPTP:
October 22: registration of candidacy and publish list of candidates
October 23: file complaints against candidates
October 24: review the complaints and publish list of approved candidates
October 25: withdrawal of candidacy, publish final list of candidates and provide them electoral symbols
Likewise, timetable for first phase polls (December 7) under FPTP:
November 2: registration of candidacy and publish list of candidates
November 3: file complaints against candidates
November 4: review the complaints and publish list of approved candidates
November 5: withdrawal of candidacy, publish final list of candidates and provide them electoral symbols
