A man died in a truck accident near Pistikhola in Madhya Nepal Municipality-6 of Lamjung on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as truck driver’s helper Sagar Lama, 22, of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-2, according to Inspector Radheshyam Singh Saithawar of the Area Police Office, Bhorletar.

The incident occurred when the truck (Ga 1 Kha 6090) heading towards Narayangadh from Rambazaar of Kaski fell some 100 metres down the road this morning.

Police said that they have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver Shyam Krishna Bhetwal of Manaruwa Municipality-6 of Bara district.

Police suspected that the incident might have occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
