The main opposition CPN-UML has claimed first position in the upcoming third phase of local polls taking place in Province No-2 slated for September 18.
The claim was made at a press meet here today by party secretary Yogesh Bhattarai.
Secretary Bhattarai said that the UML will get victory in over 70 seats (out of 136) in Province No-2 in the upcoming elections.
He further shared that his party led governments in the past had allocated adequate budgets for the holistic development of Tarai region therefore Tarai people will favour his party.
Leader Bhattarai who is also the chief of party publicity department said some forces were plotting conspiracies to defame the party but they won't be successful. RSS
