The Narayangadh-Muglin road that remained closed earlier for traffic during night as part of the road-expansion project will resume operation during night from September 13, the police said.
A meeting of the local administration, the Police, road construction company and stakeholders held in the district on Thursday decided to this effect.
The lifting of night travel ban aims to ease the journey of people leaving the Kathmandu Valley for upcoming Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals.
Earlier, traffic heading to Kathmandu was barred from 7 pm to 5 am, while vehicles heading to Narayangadh were not allowed from 6 pm to 4 am. RSS
