Surkhet
At least 18 people were injured when a jackal went on a rampage and bit them at Gurvakot Municipality-4 in the district on Wednesday evening. Its rampage continues until today noon, local people said.
The injured were receiving treatment at local health post at Sahare, with anti-rabies vaccine administered, said the health post chief Kiran Oli.
The municipality was planning to take the injured to Kathmandu, as the stock of anti-rabies vaccines is fast running short, Oli said. Over a dozen people were injured from jackal bites in the past, too. RSS
