Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) cadres locked party central vice-chairperson and coordinator of Madesh Pradhes Renu Kumari Yadav inside her house in Rajbiraj of Saptari on Monday.

The party cadres locked Yadav after she made unnecessary intervention while picking candidates for the last leg of elections slated for September 18 in Province 2, it has been learnt.

The cadres have been staging demonstration outside her house since this morning and also pelted stones at her house.

The party cadres also tried to set Yadav’s house on fire this morning. They have padlocked the main door of Yadav’s house.

A large number of police personnel have been deployed outside Yadav’s house.
