Survey Office Ilam's 54 – year – old chief was found dead on Sunday morning in a hotel room in Biratnagar, Morang.

Niroj Trikhatri was found dead in a room at Hotel Pathibhara, Morang's Superintendent of Police (SP) Arun Kumar BC said.

Trikhatri arrived in Biratnagar to participate in a three-day seminar taking place on fiscal year 2016-17 review and land reform. The seminar, which kicked off on Saturday, is being attended by chiefs of survey and land reform offices of Province no 1 and 2.

As Trikhatri is a patient of high blood pressure and diabetes the police's preliminary assumption has been inclined to attribute the survey chief's death to health related complications. RSS
