At least 10 people have been injured in a bus accident that took place at Kaande, Lalugurans Municipality-9 in Terathum district on Thursday.

The passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 7690) operated by Miteri Yatayat, en route to Kathmandu from Myanglung in the district, turned turtle at Kaande road section. There were 40 passengers on board the bus when the incident occurred.

According to one passenger, Netra Khadka, Ful Maya Tamang of Myanglung-3 has been seriously injured in the accident.

Meanwhile, the driver said that the brake pipe of the vehicle burst causing the bus to overturn.
