UML candidates have won elections in Chaubise Rural Municipality of Dhankuta.
UML’s Khajindra Rai has been elected as chairperson of Chaubise by securing 3784 votes while his nearest rival Harka Chemjong of Nepali Congress got 3279 votes.
Similarly, UML’s Yagya Kumari Ruchal has been elected as vice chairperson by securing 3696 votes while her closest rival Upendra Lawoti received 2699 votes.
