The 43rd national convention of Nepal Jaycees has elected Prakash Adhikari as its national president.
The 43rd national convention of Nepal Jaycees has elected Prakash Adhikari as its national president.
Adhikari, who represented Damak Jaycees, received a total of 657 votes form 138 Jaycees chapters across the country, a statement issued by Nepal Jaycees said on Saturday.
Kailash Khaki, Binod Subedi, Shreedhar Basyal and Sushil Kumar Shrestha have been elected executive vice presidents of the organisation.
Likewise, the convention elected 12 vice presidents including Atul Prasai, Shova Kharel, Sangita Khadka and Ram Sharan Silwal.
The convention, inaugurated by Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, concluded on Saturday, nominating Bharat Prasai as the general secretary, Raja Babu Shah as legal adviser and Ananda Adhikari as treasurer of the organisation.
