CPN-Maoist (Revolutionary) led by Mohan Baidya has announced protest programmes to protest the arrest of its cadres on charge of extorting money from local businessmen at Bagbazaar, Kathmandu.
Metropolitan Police Circle had caught red-handed the party cadres—Shiva Ram Yadav, Ram Nepali, Mahesh Shrestha and DipendraSunuwar—along with the receipt while they were forcefully collecting fund for the party from businessmen in Bagbazaar on Wednesday.
Saying that the police levelled false allegations against the party cadres, the party announced protest including whistle-rally and shutdown of Kathmandu valley.
