Nepse rises by 54.51 points on Sunday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index climbed by 54.51 points on Sunday, marking a solid gain on the first trading day of the week.
The benchmark index rose by 1.89 percent to close at 2,931.55 points.
Among the traded companies, share prices of 183 firms increased, while 73 declined. The share prices of eight companies remained unchanged.
A total of 61,407,074 shares were traded through 204,955 transactions during the day.
The total turnover stood at Rs23.59 billion.
All sectoral indices, except the trading subgroup, posted gains.
The trading subgroup declined by 4.31 points, while non-life insurance rose by 318.59 points, life insurance by 273.07 points, and hotels and tourism by 230.81 points.
