All sectors advance as Nepse posts solid gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index surged by 21.62 points on Tuesday, closing at 2,638.60.
The benchmark index rose by 0.82 percent compared to the previous trading session. Market breadth remained firmly positive, with share prices of 213 companies advancing, while 42 declined and six remained unchanged.
A total of 9,364,938 shares were traded through 49,093 transactions during the day.
The total turnover reached Rs4.23 billion.
All sub-indices ended in positive territory. The manufacturing and processing sector posted the highest gain of 158.30 points, followed by hotels and tourism, which rose by 143.04 points, and life insurance, which climbed by 88.85 points.
