Gold price drops by Rs13,400 per tola

The price of gold fell by Rs13,400 per tola (11.663 grams) on Monday, extending a downward trend seen since the end of last week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, fine gold, which was traded at Rs300,000 per tola on Sunday, dropped to Rs286,600 on Monday.
Gold price had reached an all-time high of Rs339,300 per tola on Thursday before starting to decline.
Silver price also went down. The price of silver fell by Rs300 per tola to Rs5,200 on Monday from Rs5,500 on Sunday, the federation said.
