Louvre Hotels Group opens first Royal Tulip in Kathmandu
The hotel will initially operate with 104 keys and has also opened two exceptional food and beverage outlets.

Sarovar Hotels, a leading hotel management company and part of the Louvre Hotels Group, announced the formal opening of Royal Tulip Kathmandu, the first Royal Tulip in Nepal, in Gwarko, Lalitpur. Strategically located on Ring Road, just 3.5 km from Tribhuvan International Airport, Royal Tulip Kathmandu features 308 rooms and suites, making it the largest hotel in Nepal by room count.
Spanning over 30,000 sq. ft. of versatile event space, the hotel offers grand banquet halls of approximately 11,000 sq. ft. each, six additional meeting rooms, and breakout areas. With facilities ranging from an intimate 800 sq. ft. boardroom to a sprawling ballroom, and a dedicated parking space for up to 600 cars, Royal Tulip Kathmandu is perfectly equipped to host everything from international conferences and diplomatic receptions to destination weddings, exhibitions, and large-scale corporate gatherings, the hotel said in a statement.
