The Association of Nepalese Rice, Oil and Pulses Industry has distributed food to recent landslides and flood victims.
The association said it handed 140 bags of rice and 40 bags of lentils to Purushottam Acharya, Lalitpur district president of CPN-UML, in the presence of Damodar Bhandari, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
Tuesday’s association meeting decided to provide some relief to the victims and their families. The association also expressed its grief on the loss of human life and property caused due to the natural disaster.
