Tata’s latest vehicle, Yodha enters Nepal
Tata Motors has launched their latest commercial vehicle in Nepal, the Tata Yodha. Nepal’s number one commercial vehicle brand in association with its authorised partner, Sipradi Trading announced the roll-out of the Tata Yodha at an event in Kathmandu.

The new vehicle from Tata Motors comes with top of the line specifications that gives it an advantage over its competitors, reads a press release. The Tata Yodha is equipped with a powerful 3.0 litre engine that is BS IV compliant and produces 85 HP @ 3000 along with 250 NM of torque.
The vehicle is able to travel nearly 630 kilometres on its massive 45 litre fuel tank, with a claimed mileage of 14km per litre. The Tata Yodha has been equipped with best in class ground clearance of 210mm that is perfect for Nepal. This makes the new Tata Yodha suitable for diverse business requirements like transporting agro-produce (fruits and vegetable), poultry, fish, milk, cash van, service support vehicle at construction sites and more, reads the press release.
According to Rudrarup Maitra, vice president - commercial vehicles, international business at Tata Motors, the company developed the new Tata Yodha after gathering feedback from customers. “Tata Yodha has been conceived with customers day-to-day requirements in mind. It is a workhorse that will put in as much effort as the user in their business,” said Maitra.
And the Tata Yodha is just the beginning, as the company is looking to launch more variants under the Yodha platform.
The vehicle is able to carry a payload of up to 1250kg with a top speed of 80km/h. Driver safety is also something that Tata Motors is focusing on, with anti-roll bar on the front to ensure cabin safety. The new Tata Yodha is also rated by the company as a low maintenance vehicle, with service intervals at 20,000km. Braking duty on the Tata Yodha is handled by hyrdaulic, twin pot disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear.

The new Tata Yodha will be available via Sipradi Trading, one of the largest and most prestigious brands in Nepal, reads the press release. The Chairman of Sipradi Trading Nepal shared his thoughts on the new vehicle,
