Gorkha Brewery has introduced ‘Tuborg Classic’, Nepal’s first premium strong beer with Scotch malts, amidst an event held in Nepalgunj, on Saturday. The event was attended by partners, dealers, wholesalers, retailers of Gorkha Brewery, members of the media fraternity and celebrities. 

Tuborg Classic, according to a statement issued by Gorkha Brewery, offers a refreshing drinking experience to beer connoisseurs with imported Scotch malts for a stronger and smoother taste. 

“Superior quality of imported scotch malts gives the beer a well-rounded taste, making the drinking experience easy and smooth,” adds the statement.

Tuborg Classic, which has alcohol content of 6.5 percent, is available in the market for Rs 310 per 650-ml bottle.

“In our quest to offer amazing world-class choices to our consumers, we have created a unique recipe in collaboration with our colleagues in the Carlsberg Group that caters specifically to the elegant choice of Nepali consumers,” Arun Adhikary, managing director of Gorkha Brewery, said. Tuborg was introduced in Nepal by Gorkha Brewery in 1990 and is the first international brand to be launched here.
