Prism Technologies has launched Epic 1 smartphone manufactured by InFocus, a US-based company, in the domestic market.

The company had previously introduced different models of InFocus smartphones, including M-808I, M680, Bingo 20 and M-370I, in the domestic market.

This latest model, which runs Android 6.0 operating system, is powered by MediaTek MT6797M deca-core processor, read a company statement. The phone comes with 3GB RAM and internal storage of 32GB, which is expandable.

The phone features a 5.5-inch LTPS full HD display with corning gorilla glass. Dubbed “selfie expert”, the handset and comes with an 8MP front and 18MP rear cameras. These cameras can take good pictures in low light conditions as well, read the statement.

The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor, which recognise fingerprints within 360 degrees and unlock the phone within a second, added the statement.  

Priced at Rs31,990, the phone features a metallic outer body and is powered by 3,000 mAh lithium polymer battery.
