Planet Fashion launches new winter wear range
Planet Fashion, a multi-branded outlet for men’s wear in the Kathmandu valley, has launched a new range of winter clothing for style-conscious consumers.The store, a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group of India, offers products from brands like Allen Solly, Van Heusen and Louis Philippe. The clothes are of both casual and formal categories.
Store manager Raj Shrestha said customers could choose from 35 varieties of jackets, 20 new variants of blazers, 25 new variants of hoods and 20 variants of pants and full shirts.
The company also offers a range of suits targeting marriages and partygoers. “We have already sold out a range of winter garments within a month. Prompted by the encouraging response, we have launched these clothes in new designs,” said Shrestha. He added that the products at Planet Fashion attracted both youngsters and mature customers.
Regarding costs, jacket prices start at Rs 4,000 and blazers are priced between Rs 11,000 and Rs 18,000. Similarly, cotton shirts come in the price range of Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000. “As the valley’s temperature has been falling, full jackets have been selling fast lately,” said Shrestha.
Planet Fashion has been in operation for the last six years and has seen significant growth in the number of loyal customers. “The number of value-conscious people is growing nowadays,” said Shrestha. He added that the outlet stocked clothes made of cotton, linen and wool fabrics. The store has also brought newly designed blazers and suits good for weddings, formal business meetings and parties.
“We always bring trendy wear after doing much research in the market,” said Shrestha. The company claimed to have the highest market share in premium
men’s wear in the Kathmandu valley. “The quality standards we have maintained are the main factor behind our success,” said Shrestha.
