Two persons died when an auto rickshaw met with an accident at Tila Rural Municipality-3 of Jumla district on Thursday.
According to Jumla District Police Office, a 20-year-old man from Tila-3 and a 29-year-old man from Tatopani Rural Municipality-1, who were seriously injured in the mishap, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the Jumla-based Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Narendra Chand said the auto rickshaw swerved off the road and plunged into Tila river at around 2pm while it was heading to Raralihi from Khalanga, the district headquarters.
