Local authorities say improved management, infrastructure and rising visitor interest are helping revive the potential of the scenic lake in Dadeldhura.

Careful conservation and improvements around the lake are turning it into a tourist stop that draws around 50-60 visitors daily.

It was dissolved by the Sushila Karki administration last month citing, among other things, the interim government’s lack of authority to distribute land.

The vehicle was heading towards the district headquarters when it met with an accident in Navadurga.
