Fog and mist will persist until midday in some parts of the Tarai on Tuesday, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.

The weather will remain mainly fair across most of the country. However, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the high hilly and Himalayan regions.

There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, haze is likely in a few Terai areas. Partly cloudy conditions are forecast in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will see mainly fair weather.

The division said westerly winds are currently influencing Nepal’s weather.
