Some places in the Tarai are likely to see fog until midday on Tuesday, while the weather will remain mainly clear across the plains, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The Division said the high hilly and Himalayan regions will be generally cloudy, with partly cloudy conditions in the rest of the hills. Isolated places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces may receive light rain or snowfall.

At night, fog or mist is expected at a few locations in the Tarai. The high hilly and Himalayan regions will be partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will see mainly clear skies. Light rain or snowfall remains possible at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali, the Division said.
