The Meteorological Forecasting Division said the weather is expected to remain mostly fair across the country on Wednesday due to the partial influence of local and westerly winds.

According to the division, the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces will see partly to generally cloudy conditions this afternoon, while the weather will remain fair elsewhere.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, light rain and snowfall are likely at a few places in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

During the night, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will witness mostly clear skies. Light rain and snowfall are also possible at a few places in the high hills and mountains of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
